Adam G. Wasch is one of the founders of the firm and the Managing Partner. Adam’s practice is focused on franchise law, complex business litigation and advising startup companies.
Adam regularly represents both franchisors and franchisees in dispute resolution and in litigation matters in federal court, arbitration and state court. Adam also provides general counsel services to his established and startup franchise clients in a variety of industries including fast food, quick service restaurants, health and wellness, retail, pet care, real estate, and more.
Adam has counseled dozens of domestic and international companies looking to expand through franchising. Adam drafts FDDs for startup franchise systems. Once the franchise system is ready to launch, Adam and his team provides routinely updates the FDD, assists with franchisee closings, registers his clients in various states around the country, and handles dispute resolution issues.
Adam has been named as a Legal Elite Up & Comer and a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the Franchising category. Adam is an active member of the ABA Forum on Franchising and regularly attends the forum. He was named in “Hired! 20 of the Keenest Legal Minds in Global Franchising” by Global Franchise Magazine and 40 Under 40 in Boca Magazine.
In addition to his franchise practice, Adam litigates trademark disputes involving the Lanham Act, breach of contract actions, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act violations, Florida Sale of Business Opportunities Act, civil theft claims, and more. Prior to founding the firm, Adam was a litigator at one of Florida’s largest litigation defense firms.
Adam serves on the management team of startup businesses and provides his clients with relevant governance and structural issues on an as-needed basis. Among his clients, Adam serves as general counsel to Front Office Sports, LLC, which is a multi-media platform that has become a leader in the sports business industry.
Adam graduated from the University of Florida with a business degree and proceeded to work in the front office of three Minor League Baseball teams in Savannah, New Orleans and Colorado Springs. In law school, Adam was the managing editor of the FIU Law Review and founded the school’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS).
