Wasch Raines Partner Adam G. Wasch Provides Legal Analysis to Fortune Magazine

FortuneWasch Raines partner Adam G. Wasch provided legal analysis to Fortune Magazine for two articles related to the aviation business and airlines’ rights to refuse to transport passengers.

Mr. Wasch provided Fortune writer Kristen Bellstrom with the basis for JetBlue to refuse to transport 26 year-old burlesque dancer Maggie McMuffin due to her outfit in the June 1, 2016, article “Here’s Why JetBlue Can Legally Kick You Off a Plane for Wearing Booty Shorts”.

Mr. Wasch provided Fortune columnist Christoper Elliott with legal analysis for his May 11, 2016, article “Why It’s So Easy for an Airline to Kick You Off a Plane”.

Prior to co-founding Wasch Raines LLP in January 2014 and focusing his practice on business and franchise law, Mr. Wasch primarily represented aviation companies and commercial airlines, including Spirit Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and others, at a large Florida litigation firm.  He has been quoted in various publications related to the aviation industry during his career.  Due to his aviation law background, Mr. Wasch currently represents aviation entities as general counsel and litigation counsel with his partners at Wasch Raines including a regional foreign airline and multiple Florida-based startup drone companies.

Mr. Wasch was recently mentioned as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the franchise category and has made the Florida Legal Elite Up & Comer List in 2016. He is active in the ABA Forum on Franchising and is a partner in Franchise Formations, LLC, which is dedicated to providing a one-stop-shop for businesses to expand and grow the right way through franchising.
