Adam G. Wasch
Adam is one of the founders of the firm and the Managing Partner. Adam’s legal practice is focused on franchise law, complex business and franchise litigation, franchise dispute resolution, advising startup franchise companies and franchisees, franchise document drafting, startup law and trademark.
Adam is a founder and the Managing Partner of the firm. Adam regularly represents both franchisors and franchisees. Adam’s starts up and counsels dozens of franchisors in a variety of industries including fast casual restaurants, fitness, health and wellness, pet care, smoothies, medical services, retail, and other unique brands. Adam also represents franchisees, multi-unit franchise owners, franchise associations, and prospective franchisees interested in joining a national franchise brand.
For franchisors and startup franchise companies, Adam drafts Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD’s) and, after launching the system, Adam and his team serve as general counsel to brands assisting with franchisee closings, state registrations, FDD updates, mergers and acquisitions, trademark registrations, dispute resolution and litigation services. For franchisees, Adam reviews FDDs and counsels prospects before and after the franchise closing.
Adam has been named as a Legal Elite Up & Comer and a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the Franchising category. Adam is an active member of the ABA Forum on Franchising and regularly attends the forum. He was named in “Hired! 20 of the Keenest Legal Minds in Global Franchising” by Global Franchise Magazine and 40 Under 40 in Boca Magazine.
Adam serves on the management team of startup businesses and provides his clients with relevant governance and structural issues on an as-needed basis. Adam graduated from the University of Florida with a business degree and proceeded to work in the front office of three Minor League Baseball teams. In law school, Adam was the managing editor of the FIU Law Review and founded the school’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS).
